So not many good posters came out this week. Actually, not many came out at all. For some reason I love posters. I think it's a very important part of marketing a movie. First we have the first poster for the horror vampire film "Daybreakers". Is it just me, or does this poster look very similar to the vampire flick "30 Days of Night"? Not very original. Next comes the poster for the teen comedy "Youth in Revolt". Michael Cera looks like he was airbrushed to the point of no return and they added some wrinkles. We also have a poster for the film "Sherlock Holmes" starring Robert Downey Jr.. This poster is much better than the first poster (although I don't think that was even a real poster). Next we have the new poster for the sci-fi horror film "Pandorum", which at first glance, the poster looks nice but now I'm not feeling it as much. We also have an okay looking international poster for the thriller "The Perfect Getaway" which comes out later this summer. I bet the US poster will be the same thing. The poster for "Cold Souls" has been released, and I really like the Russian dolls thing it has going. And just like the trailer, it's very interesting. Next comes the poster for the Ashton Kutcher comedy "Spread", which I have a funny feeling will go straight-to-dvd judging by this poster. The drama film, "Trucker", starring Michelle Monaghan ("Eagle Eye") has a new poster out, and it's a little bland. Finally comes the poster for "The Time Traveler's Wife". The font is too boring, although I do like the background effect (and Rachel McAdams looking lovely as well). And that wraps up a week in posters!
